Sicer and Bluenco: The Torriana (RN) Production Plant

The collaboration between Bluenco and Sicer spans all of the Group’s production sites, with the Torriana (Rimini) facility—a strategic technology hub—serving as the main showcase. The site currently operates:

  • 16 mills complete with dispersion tanks
  • 6 melting furnaces equipped with exhaust gas treatment systems and integrated with screw extractors

The partnership with Bluenco went beyond supplying individual machines, covering several key areas of production through a modular and progressive approach. This flexibility allowed Sicer to integrate Bluenco solutions into existing lines, optimizing time, resources, and system compatibility.

Achieved Results

Thanks to the synergy between the two technical teams, numerous production phases were optimized, yielding tangible benefits:

  • Improved finished product quality, thanks to the precision and reliability of Bluenco machines.
  • Traceability and replicability of formulations.
  • Reduction of errors and waste.
  • Greater operational continuity, with easy-to-maintain equipment.

Simplified staff training, supported by intuitive interfaces and user-friendly automation.

A Partnership Looking to the Future

The collaboration between Sicer and Bluenco is a concrete example of integration between industrial expertise and advanced automation. This journey will continue to evolve, with the shared goal of further improving efficiency, quality, and sustainability in ceramic production processes.
